"This visit is important for the district, and it must take place in a peaceful and organised environment."

She assured the public that security agencies have put comprehensive measures in place to guarantee safety before, during and after the presidential engagement, noting that all security organs are working in close coordination.

"All security forces are fully deployed and operating jointly to ensure the safety of residents, visitors and their property throughout the President's visit," Mwanjuzi said.

The Deputy RDC also urged residents to cooperate with security personnel and comply with guidelines issued by authorities, emphasising that maintaining peace is a shared responsibility.

"Peace is everyone's duty. Let us welcome the President in a calm and respectful manner and demonstrate that Mityana is a law-abiding district," she said.

President Museveni's visit is expected to attract large crowds from across the district and neighbouring areas, prompting heightened security and public order measures to ensure the event proceeds smoothly and without incident.
