African Sisters Network's Nyanzi Nominated for Prestigious Forty Under 40 Africa Awards 2026

Ugandan consultant and women's empowerment advocate Victoria Ateenyi poprularly known as victoria Nyanzi was nominated for the Forty Under 40 Africa Awards 2026, a continental initiative that celebrates exceptional young achievers shaping Africa's future.

Victoria, who represents The African Sisters Network (TASN), has been shortlisted in the Consultancy category.

The Forty Under 40 Africa Awards, now in their 5th edition, recognize individuals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and impact within their respective fields. This year's ceremony will take place from 9th-14th February 2026 at the prestigious Kempinski Hotel, Gold Coast City in Accra, Ghana.

Nyanzi's nomination highlights her influential role in strengthening women-led initiatives across Africa through strategic advisory, capacity-building, and advocacy.

Through TASN, she has played a pivotal part in empowering young women and girls, amplifying their voices, and building networks that foster social and economic progress.

Organizers describe the event as a platform "celebrating continental icons," bringing together high-achieving young professionals from across Africa for a week of tours, summits, and awards.

"I am more than honored for having been nominated for these Awards. This is only testament that the work I do truly inspires, and pushes other young people to achieve more, to be more,"Nyanzi said.

The Forty Under 40 Africa Awards are endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture of Ghana, the Ministry of Youth & Sports of Ghana, and the Diaspora Affairs Office of the President of Ghana.

Nyanzi's nomination marks yet another milestone for Uganda's growing influence in continental leadership and consultancy excellence.
