OCP obtains Government authorization to establish OCP Specialty Products & Solutions S.A., a subsidiary dedicated to Specialty Chemicals

OCP has obtained authorization from the Government to establish OCP Specialty Products & Solutions S.A. (OCP SPS S.A.), a subsidiary that will bring together the existing activities of the Specialty Products & Solutions (SPS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The new entity aims to accelerate growth in specialty phosphate businesses and their derivatives.

OCP SPS S.A. will consolidate and develop a portfolio of products and solutions, including industrial salts derived from purified phosphoric acid, precision animal and plant nutrition solutions, as well as the valorization of co-products derived from the phosphate value chain.

These high added-value activities, built on the mastery of innovative technologies, offer new and sustainable value creation opportunities around phosphorus. They address a wide range of applications, including precision agriculture, animal nutrition, agri-food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as other advanced sectors such as electronics and energy transition technologies.

These businesses are characterized by specific economic models and benefit from strong global growth prospects through 2030, thereby enabling the Group to accelerate its diversification agenda.

The development of OCP SPS S.A. will rely on a strong technological foundation and a world-class R&D ecosystem, centered around Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), and supported by a network of international partners.
