In determining category winners, Ekandjo explained that, for credibility and fairness, an independent panel of judges composed of industry experts is appointed to adjudicate.

"All categories are open for entry except the People's Brand of the Year category, which will be decided by a public vote. All other categories will be adjudicated by an experienced independent panel of judges who will use their knowledge based on the entries and evidence provided by the submissions. We will announce the names of the judges very soon," he said.
