Angola: Basketball Federation Reschedules Women Super Cup Final

Luanda — The teams of Sporting de Luanda, reining champions of the national basketball championship, and the winner of the Angolan W Cup Interclube will compete on Saturday (31), in the province of Benguela, for the 31st Edition of the Women's Basketball Super Cup.

Initially scheduled for Thursday (29), in the country's capital, the event has been moved to the city of Lobito, and should take place from 6:00 pm, at the Casa do Pessoal do Porto pavilion, as a note from the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB).

The game, which officially opens the 2025/26 season in the women's sector, pits two of the best teams in national basketball against each other, although it takes place at a time when the InterClub teams have been showing some decline in performance in the provincial championship.

1º de Agosto is the holder of the Super Cup title.
