Uganda: Mukono Police Probe Disappearance of UCU Student

Police in Mukono District have launched an investigation into the mysterious disappearance of Nathan Tuwandike, 25, a student at Uganda Christian University and resident of Nsibambi A11, Mukono District.

Tuwandike was last seen on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in Mukono Town. Authorities noted that he left behind his phone and other personal belongings at his hostel, prompting concerns over the circumstances of his sudden disappearance.

Police have appealed to the public to provide any information that could assist in locating Tuwandike. Anyone with relevant details is urged to report to the nearest police station or contact Mukono Police Station directly at 0783748109.

Investigations are ongoing, with authorities assuring that all efforts are being made to trace the missing student and establish the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
