Uganda: Kabaka Honours Kwar Adhola Owor On 100th Birthday

The Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, has congratulated Moses Stephen Owor, widely known as Kwar Adhola, the cultural leader of the Jopadhola, on reaching the milestone of 100 years, celebrating a century of leadership and service.

The Kabaka's message was delivered by the Charles Peter Mayiga during a function at the palace in Tororo.

The event brought together cultural leaders, dignitaries, and members of the Jopadhola community to mark this historic occasion.

In his message, Kabaka Mutebi praised Kwar Adhola Owor for his steadfast leadership, dedication to preserving cultural heritage, and commitment to promoting unity and development within his community.

He also commended the Jopadhola cultural institution for fostering values that encourage harmony and mutual respect across Uganda's diverse communities.

The Katikkiro conveyed the Kabaka's warm wishes for continued health, peace, and wisdom for the centenarian leader.

He highlighted the vital role of strong cultural institutions in nurturing identity, stability, and cooperation across regions.

Senior Buganda Kingdom officials present at the celebration included Joseph Kawuki, Noah Kiyimba, and retired Deputy Katikkiro Emmanuel Sendawula.
