Kenya: Gachagua Slams Govt Attempts to Block Luo Nation Interview

Nairobi — DCP Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua has accused Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo of trying to stop his scheduled engagement with the Luo community.

Gachagua who made the allegations on X minutes to his scheduled interview on Ramogi TV and Ramogi FM on Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm, alleged efforts to pressure the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) to switch off signals during his interview.

"Stop trying to have my engagement with the Luo Nation cancelled. It will not work!" Gachagua said, urging authorities to allow the community to access all viewpoints before making decisions.

He praised the Luo Nation as an intelligent and learned community capable of discerning truth from falsehoods.

"Don't belittle the community by thinking you own them and can decide who should or should not talk to them," he added.

Gachagua called on all Patriotic Kenyans to tune in and engage in the discussion, emphasizing the importance of open dialogue and informed decision-making.
