Sudan: Prime Minister Reviews Overall Situation in White Nile State

- Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris reviewed the overall security, economic, and social conditions in White Nile State during a meeting on Monday in Khartoum with Wali of White Nile State, Lieutenant General Qamar Al-Din Mohamed Fadl Al-Moula.

In press remarks, the Wali stated that the meeting addressed agricultural development in the state and underscored the necessity of supporting major agricultural projects to positively impact the national economy.

He added that discussions also covered the importance of harnessing the state's abundant resources, particularly in the livestock sector, as well as advancing major investment projects across agricultural, industrial, commercial, and service sectors.

The meeting further examined the progress of development projects, especially in infrastructure and road construction, in addition to partnerships between the state government and Zadna and Giad companies to support reconstruction efforts.

The Wali affirmed that White Nile State enjoys peaceful coexistence among all components of society, calling on investors to explore opportunities across various sectors while reaffirming the state government's commitment to facilitating investment.

He also disclosed that the Prime Minister pledged to visit the state in the near future.
