Local Zimbabwean Content Online security software Global Current Events A Ruwa-based prophet, Thomas Kanhu, appeared in court accused of stealing cash and valuables worth US$250,000 from a Gunhill home in Harare.
Kanhu is jointly charged with Learnmore Mirison and the two are facing unlawful entry charges.
The complainant is Zhang Yung, a director of Fortitude Construction Company.

The State alleges that on April 7, 2026, at around 1PM, Zhang secured US$250,000 in a lockable safe inside a safe room before locking the main door.
Prosecutors say later that night the two accused, together with Obert Mirison, who was employed as a night security guard at the premises and is still at large "hatched a plan to steal."
"Pursuant of their plan accused hired an Indrive to the scene and met Obert who was on night guard duty at the scene. The accused persons accessed the main door keys from one of the rooms, unlocked the door, took the safe and covered it with a blanket, took it outside and locked the main door and took away the keys," the State alleges.
"They carried the safe to Churchill Road where they hired another vehicle to Mabvuku near Khaya Cement. They further hired another vehicle from Tatenda Kambarami to Eastview where they took off the safe and went to Eastview mountain where they broke the safe open. The accused shared the money and outstanding accused getting the bigger share and went separate ways."
According to the State, the theft went unnoticed until the following day.
"The following morning, the complainant learnt that Obert had not been seen at the premises but he did not suspect anything bad. On the same day at around 1300 hours, he discovered that the keys to the safe room were missing from the table drawer," the State said.
"He became suspicious and forced open the safe room door using a metal object and discovered that the safe containing cash was missing and he filed a police report."
Investigations led detectives to the accused on April 10.
"Learnmore was allegedly interviewed pertaining to the whereabouts of his elder brother Obert, and he led police to his house and recovered US$31 800 in small bag stashed in the house."
Police also recovered key exhibits.
"On the same date, Learnmore led detectives to Eastview mountain and led to the recovery of the safe and a blanket they used to carry it," the State alleges.
"Learnmore led to the arrest of Kanhu and police recovered US$25 000 and Iphone 16 and unregistered Honda Shuttle vehicle."
