29 April 2026

Salam TV Managing Director Hajji Karim Kaliisa convened a special meeting with a team of Salam TV-affiliated Sheikhs at Bamus Sarovar Portico Hotel Kampala, outlining the station's ongoing development initiatives and strengthening ties with the new hotel.

The meeting introduced several Salam TV projects currently underway, including the Luuka Development Initiatives, Lwannyonyi Skilling Center in Mukono, the Smart Community Program in Rwampara District, and development initiatives in Katakwi District.

According to Hajji Kaliisa, who also heads Salam Charity, the broadcaster's core mission is the development and dissemination of Daawa.

"Where there is development, that is where we put more emphasis," he told the Sheikhs.
