Nairobi — Crown Culture Africa has officially launched Miss Universe Kenya under a new management structure aimed at redefining the country's pageantry industry and strengthening Kenya's representation on the global stage.
The newly formed organization brings together creatives, strategists and industry leaders with more than 30 years of combined experience in pageantry, talent development and international competitions.
According to the organizers, the new leadership seeks to align the local competition with the global standards of the Miss Universe platform while empowering young women through leadership and advocacy.
Speaking during the launch in Nairobi, Kevin Bellwood said the organization aims to build a credible and transformative platform for Kenyan women.
"Our goal is to create a platform that is aspirational, credible and transformative, identifying women who can confidently represent Kenya on the global stage while driving meaningful change at home," he said.
The competition will focus on leadership, advocacy and purpose-driven storytelling in addition to stage performance.
Contestants selected from across the country will undergo training in public speaking, personal branding and social impact as part of the programme.
Applications for the competition are now open through the official Miss Universe Kenya website, with organizers expected to announce more details in the coming weeks.
