The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Manager and Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye has donated food items and a bull to the Muslim community at Al Albaan Islamic Primary School, Masjid Noor in Kawaala, ahead of the forthcoming Eid Al Adha celebrations.
The donation, received by a section of Muslim women, is aimed at supporting vulnerable families as Muslims prepare to mark one of the most significant celebrations on the Islamic calendar.
Women at the mosque welcomed the donation with excitement and thanked Namyalo for her continued concern for Muslim communities and ordinary Ugandans.
While handing over the items, Namyalo clarified that the donation had been provided by President Yoweri Museveni through the Office of the National Chairman, noting that she was only delivering the President's message of support.

"This support is from President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. People should know that the President is always thinking about wananchi and standing with them during such important occasions. For me, I am only delivering his message and support to the people," she said.
She appealed to Muslim families to maintain discipline, unity and love during the Eid festivities, urging them to use the celebration as a moment to strengthen family and community bonds.
Namyalo also revealed that after the Eid celebrations, the Office of the National Chairman would resume its countrywide empowerment programmes targeting women, youth and other vulnerable groups.
"Immediately after Eid, we shall resume our empowerment programmes across the country because the President wants Ugandans, especially the youth and women, to improve their livelihoods and fight poverty at household level," she said.
Addressing journalists on behalf of the women at Masjid Noor, Hajjat Mariam Bashir thanked President Museveni for continuously remembering Muslim communities, especially women, during difficult economic times and religious celebrations.
She also commended Namyalo for her outreach programmes, saying many women and local residents had benefited from her mobilisation and support activities.
The donation drive is part of ongoing community outreach programmes under the national wealth creation and empowerment campaign.
