Angola: Author Sousa Jamba Launches Book 'The House of the Two Bibles and Other Stories'

Luanda — A book of short stories about the Central Plateau and Angolan society, by writer Sousa Jamba, was launched on Thursday in Luanda, published by Mayamba publishing house.

Speaking to the press, the author said he wrote the stories over time, inspired by his mother, who always urged him to write about the Central Plateau and its society as a result of his experiences.

Sousa Jamba considers the book to be a collection of short stories that celebrate the heritage, culture, and Central Plateau, his place he was born with the aim to show their importance and that young readers should pay attention to what is theirs (what identifies with each individual). Sousa Jamba was born in Evangelical Mission of Dondi, in the municipality of Cachiungo, on January 9, 1966.
