Uganda: Salam TV Appoints Mobilisation Committees Ahead of Omumanyi Wa Salam TV 2026/27 Launch

The Managing Director of Salam TV Hajji Karim Kaliisa has appointed a special mobilization committee for Omumanyi Wa Salam TV in the Bugisu Region as preparations intensify for the 2026/2027 nationwide edition of the quiz competition.

According to Hajji Karim Kaliisa MD of Salam TV and SalamCharity, every region in Uganda will have its own ground mobilization committee. The committees will ease registration and partnership for residents interested in participating. Districts that were not reached in previous editions will be covered this time.

The campaign has two main objectives: community mobilization and promoting development and self-sustainability.

The competition's questions will cover religion, culture, Ugandan and African history, and current affairs. The format is designed so participants of all backgrounds can take part.

Registration is open to Ugandans aged 10 to 90. Participants will compete for prizes at both regional and national levels. The list of gifts includes Hajj pilgrimage to Makkah and Madinah, Umrah packages, cars, motorcycles, land titles, home furniture, cash money, and other life-changing rewards.

Salam TV says the expansion aims to reach more communities and give every Ugandan a chance to compete and win.

For registration and participation details, contact Salam TV on 0702 98 80 64 or 0776 98 80 64.
