Uganda: Jikoni Restaurant, Salam TV Explore Strategic Partnership for Community Engagement

Management of Jikoni Restaurant has held strategic discussions with Salam TV at Next Media Park, exploring a potential partnership aimed at enhancing community impact and audience engagement.

The Jikoni team was received by Hajj Karim Kaliisa, Managing Director of Salam TV and Salam Charity, during a meeting that both parties described as the beginning of a promising collaboration.

The discussions centred on an upcoming joint initiative, although details remain undisclosed, with both sides indicating that more information will be shared in the near future.

"Stay tuned for what we're cooking up," the Jikoni team noted, hinting at a possible integrated campaign or activation between the two brands.

Kaliisa said Next Media operates as an integrated ecosystem that enables partners to reach wider audiences across its platforms.

"Once you come on board, you get amplified across all our brands," he said, adding that Salam TV's community-driven approach allows it to connect directly with audiences at a grassroots level.

The Jikoni Restaurant team expressed appreciation for the engagement and signalled readiness to work with Salam TV and the broader Next Media network to deliver value to customers and viewers.

The meeting concluded with a group photo between both teams, with officials describing the engagement as the foundation for a results-oriented partnership focused on community benefit and brand growth.
