Botswana: Boko Engages Dikgosi

Gaborone — President Advocate Duma Boko (left) and Ntlo ya Dikgosi chairperson, Kgosi Malope II of Bangwaketse after the former's meeting with Dikgosi in Gaborone yesterday to discuss matters of national importance. President Boko and Dikgosi discussed issues relating to gender-based violence, which remains a significant challenge in the society.

Therefore, the President urged Dikgosi to come up with interventions to address the GBV scourge. He also encouraged them to promote responsible child-upbringing practices and mobilise their communities to maintain clean villages and landscape of public open spaces to make them more attractive to residents and tourists.
