Tunisia: Air Force Intervenes to Extinguish Wildfire On Jebel El Chahma in Zaghouan

Tunis, July 11 — The Air Force intervened on Saturday evening to help extinguish the wildfire that broke out on Jebel El Chahma in Bir Halima, Zaghouan governorate, deploying a military helicopter in seven sorties, according to the Ministry of National Defence.

The Air Force brought the blaze at the mountain summit under control, while efforts by the various responding teams continue to extinguish the fire at the foot of the mountain.
