The African Development Bank Group, through its Country Economics Department (ECCE), will officially launch the 2026 Regional Economic Outlook (REO) for West Africa and Country Focus Reports (CFRs) for Côte d'Ivoire on the 28 of July 2026.

These Regional Economic Outlooks and Country Focus Reports are derived from the 2026 African Economic Outlook (AEO) and provide in-depth thematic analyses for each African region and country. They contextualize the key messages of the African Economic Outlook at the regional and national levels, integrating local priorities, regional specific challenges, and national policy perspectives.

The launch of these reports strengthens the Bank's thought leadership, engages national policymakers, and enhances the visibility of its knowledge products.

Coordinated dissemination events across Regional Member Countries will deliver localised key messages and insights directly to the country level. These events aim to foster evidence-based policy dialogue, encouraging national stakeholders to use the reports' findings to inform national decision-making.

Through country-level roll-out events, the Bank aims to strengthen ownership and use of the reports, encouraging stakeholders to leverage their insights in shaping national development strategies and policy decisions.
