Somalia: Minister of Defence Visits Pakistan Air Force Headquarters

Islamabad — The Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, who is on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan leading a high-level delegation, today visited the Headquarters of the Pakistan Air Force, where he was received by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral military cooperation, enhancing air force capabilities, expanding training opportunities, promoting the exchange of expertise, and further strengthening defence and security cooperation between the two countries.

The Minister was accompanied during the meeting by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Pakistan, H.E. Sheikh Noor Mohamed Hassan, the Commander of the Somali Air Force, Brigadier General Abdirizak Mahmoud Haji, and other senior officials.
