18 August 2026

Zimdancehall artist Ezbornwage Chidamajaya, better known as Hulengende, walked free from fraud and assault allegations after both complainants withdrew their cases during vetting.

Hulengende was represented by Terrence Nyadundu.

The musician was arrested over the weekend during his performance at the Harare edition of Doek & Slay at Glamis Arena.

The fraud allegations against him stem from a complaint filed by Munyaradzi Matanhaura.
