South Africa: Minister Ndabeni Appointed Acting Health Minister

President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed Small Business Development Minister Stella Ndabeni as Acting Minister of Health.

The appointment was made in terms of section 98 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa of 1996 and will take effect from Monday, 24 September 2026 until 30 September 2026.

"Minister Ndabeni will undertake all functions of the Minister of Health for the said period while Minister Motsoaledi remains on sick leave," the Presidency said in a short statement.
