Two other occupants who were trapped inside the wreckage were rescued and rushed to Mityana General Hospital for medical attention.
They were identified as 27-year-old Reagan Ssekandi and 22-year-old Enock Kanyike, both residents of Kazinga, Kasangati in Wakiso District.
Wamala Region Police spokesperson SSP Lameck Kigozi said traffic officers from Mityana Police visited and documented the scene.
"The scene has been visited and properly documented by the traffic officers. The wreckage has also been towed to the Mityana traffic parking yard as investigations continue," Kigozi said.
Police said preliminary findings point to suspected reckless driving as the possible cause of the crash, although investigations are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances that led to the vehicle losing control.
The body of Kaganda was conveyed to the mortuary at Mityana General Hospital for a postmortem examination.
Kigozi urged motorists to exercise caution and observe safe driving practices to protect themselves and other road users.
"We urge drivers to exercise maximum caution and always put safety first. Reckless driving can have devastating consequences, not only for the driver but also for passengers and other road users," he cautioned.
