Uganda: Namilyango, Bwerayangi Win Leg 1 of the Hima Clash of Titans

Kampala, Uganda — Namilyango College and last year's Ladies winners, Bweranyangi Girls School, have won the first leg of the Hima Cement-sponsored Clash of Titans at Uganda Golf Club.

The Ngonians, as they are commonly known, garnered 356 points from the 15 schools. Kings College Buddo was runner-up with 352 points while 2024 winners Ntare School completed the top 3 with 350 points.

Bweranyangi continued its dominance by taking an early lead in the first leg out of the Girls' Schools contest. Maryhill High School and Gayaza High School were second and third with 149 and 101 points, respectively.

This year's edition is the fifth and has attracted a huge number of old-school alumni students. The grand finale will be held on October 10.
