Angola: Summit Angola to Showcase Agricultural Programme Management

Luanda — The Summit Angola project will present programme management in agriculture as a tool for transforming the country's strategic objectives into concrete action plans for the agricultural sector during an event scheduled for October this year in Luanda.

According to a press release sent to ANGOP on Friday, a professional programme management approach can help reduce delays, improve the use of resources and enhance the ability to convert investments into tangible results.

The second edition of the event aims to transform ideas and investments into agricultural projects that are executable, sustainable and capable of delivering measurable outcomes.

The programme will also address financing and the preparation of bankable projects, innovation and digitalisation, infrastructure, irrigation, agricultural insurance, livestock production, agro-industry, risk management and market access.

According to the document, the decision to focus the 2026 edition on agriculture reflects the sector's strategic importance for Angola's economic diversification, increased domestic production and the development of a more sustainable economy.

The event, which will feature specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, will examine the capacity to structure, finance, implement and monitor projects throughout the value chain, from the field to the marketplace.

The second edition of the Summit is expected to bring together around 300 participants to discuss implementation capacity within Angola's agricultural sector.

Organised by Nodix Consulting under the theme "From field to market: Projects, innovation and sustainability in Angolan agriculture", the event is expected to attract project managers, business leaders, producers, investors, representatives of public institutions, banks and other financial institutions.
