Rwanda: Call for Tree Planting Culture

The permanent secretary in the ministry of forestry and mines has urged Rwandans to adopt the culture of tree planting.

There were educational exhibits showing the production of rubber from the planting of rubber tree seeds all the way to the harvesting of raw latex. This exhibit shows stages in the production of high yield stock trees to replace the aging and neglected stocks that are so common in the country today.
