Niger: Issoufou Wins 'Credible' Run-Off

Social Democratic Party leader Mahamadou Issoufou has won elections in Niger with 57.95 per cent of the vote. United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says the outcome is "an important step towards restoring democratic governance" in the West African country.
