Is Sudan's Government Bankrupt?

The austerity measures that government is currently applying to restore the struggling economy are a reflection of the level of bankruptcy in state coffers says Finance Minister Ali Mahmoud.

Sudan's economy has been struggling with soaring inflation and a depreciating currency since the country lost three quarters of its oil revenues with South Sudan's secession in July 2011.
