Renowned South African Scholar Dies

Emeritus Professor Phillip Valentine Tobias, a scholar in the fields of anatomy, palaeoanthropology and zoology, internationally renowned for his expertise on the origins of humans, and an outspoken anti-apartheid academic, has died at 86.
