Incumbent Mahama Declared Winner in Ghana

The Electoral Commission in Ghana has declared President John Dramani Mahama winner of the presidential elections. Official result show that the incumbent polled 50.70 percent of votes cast, compared to 47.74 percent for his closest challenger, Nana Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party.
