Egypt 'Wipes Out' Assailants in Sinai
As authorities grapple with protesters supporting ousted President Mohamed Mursi in Cairo, security forces are also battling armed assailants in the Sinai Peninsula, along Egypt's border with Isreal. The army claims it has dealt a major blow to "terrorists" in the area, using Apache helicopters.
