U.S. Special Forces Raid Somalia, Libya

United States special forces launched attacks against militants in Somalia and Libya on Saturday. In a raid carried out from the sea on the al Shabaab stronghold of Barawe, they attacked a house reportedly occupied by the group's top leader, and in Libya they seized an al Qaeda leader reportedly linked to the 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.
