Kofi Annan Defends International Justice

Former United Nations chief Kofi Annan has come out in strong defence of the International Criminal Court at The Hague. Days ahead of an African Union debate on whether to pull out of the court, he said in Cape Town that African leaders "are protecting themselves. No one speaks for the victims."
