UN Calls For Civilian Protection in CAR

The United Nations has urged the transitional authorities in Bangui to uphold their duty to protect the population following the latest violence by armed groups, which left at least 12 people dead and 30 wounded.

Some of the injured who were evacuated from the combat zone by the ICRC in Bangui.
