New Owners Fire South African Editor

The new owners of one of South Africa's biggest publishers, Independent Newspapers, have removed from office the editor of one of its leading titles, the Cape Times in Cape Town, after the publication of reports on controversy around the granting of a State tender to one of the owners' other companies.
