Call for Armed Youths to Stand Down in South Sudan

As many as 25,000 youths loyal to former vice president Riek Machar are marching on the city of Bor in Jonglei State, government sources say. The United Nations mission in the country has called on all those with influence to convince them to immediately halt their advance and avoid a further escalation of the current crisis.
