Nigerians May Not Be Convinced by Billion-Dollar Oil Probe
The government has authorised a forensic audit of the accounts of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, following claims by former central bank governor Lamido Sanusi that the corporation failed to remit U.S.$20 billion of oil sale proceeds to government coffers.But many Nigerians may be unconvinced that the audit will find any missing funds.
