New Egyptian President Faces Rights Crisis

The international rights groups, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, say security forces have used excessive force on numerous occasions, leading to the "worst incident of mass unlawful killings" in the country's recent history. The groups have urged President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to make addressing the "dismal" human rights record a top priority.
