France Ends Military Operations in Mali
Despite tensions between communities and persistent insecurity, France says its military operations in northern Mali - aimed at stopping rebels from reaching the capital - has been "perfectly accomplished", and will now be replaced with a broader counter-terrorism force across the Sahel region.
