Deadly Nigeria Attacks Blamed on Boko Haram

There has seen an upsurge in attacks in Mubi State and a deadly suicide attack on a Shia religious festival in Yobe State. This while an attack on a prison in the northeast has seen over one hundred prisoners escape - the increase in deadly attacks follows government claims that a "ceasefire agreement" had been reached with Boko Haram and the sect's subsequent denial of said agreement.
