Sirleaf Credits U.S. for Boosting Progress Against Ebola

President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf told a U.S. Congress' subcommittee hearing that the Obama Administration's support "encouraged the rest of the world to respond to this global crisis".She also said Liberia is sending health workers to Sierre Leone to assist that country's fight again Ebola, adding: "full eradication will not be secured until the whole region is freed from Ebola; until there is prevention against future possible outbreak and until we develop a medicine, both preventive and curative to conquer this deadly disease.".
