Sirleaf Visit - U.S. Media Recognize Liberia's Progress on Ebola

Reporting by U.S. media during President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf's four-day visit to Washington, DC last week generally portray Liberia as resilient and making progress in the wake of the Ebola outbreak last year. In addition to her meeting with President Obama, the Liberian leader met with Secretaries of State and Defense, John Kerry and Ash Carter, as well as Congressional leaders,  and she addressed an event on Capitol Hill organized by Rep. Chris Coons and the U.S. Institute for Peace.
