Liberian Investor Says It Is Committed to Country
ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel company, in a column for AllAfrica, has reiterated its intention to stay in Liberia, where it is a major source of jobs and has a mining operation that has been exporting five million tons of iron ore annually. Liberia's economy has taken a bashing from Ebola, and corporate investors were among the first international organizations - alongside Medicins Sans Frontiere - to respond.
