Government 'Not Cooperating' with Nigeria's Transition - Buhari

In an extensive, exclusive conversation with Sunday Trust, Nigeria's incoming president says he will level with the people about fuel and revenue shortages and other challenges, when he assumes office and can learn the facts. He said his transition team has not been able to get information from the current government. He also reiterated support for the outgoing government's agriculture minister, Akinwumi Adesina, to head the African Development Bank. In part one of the interview, conducted in his home in Daura and published in the Weekly Trust on Saturday, he said he wants to return home as often as he can after taking office, but he won't provide favours. "Nobody in Daura got an oil bloc" when he was military ruler in the 1980s, he said.
