As the country commemorated Madaraka Day, President Uhuru Kenyatta said it is "a sin against nationhood" for politicians to engage in negative ethnicity and inter-communal conflict.

President Uhuru Kenyatta greets Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, who attended the Madaraka Day celebrations, and advised Kenya to identify the culprits behind the Al-Shabaab attacks and deal with them.
