Alarm Raised About Growing Insecurity in Burundi

The government is targeting civil society activists, journalists and opposition members with "harassment, phone calls, threats", forcing some of them to go in to hiding or leave the country.

More than 105,000 people have fled Burundi after deadly clashes between anti-government protesters and police over the decision by President Nkurunziza to run for third term.
