U.S. Congress Approves AGOA Trade Pact Renewal

The U.S. House and Senate both approved renewal of the U.S.-Africa trade pact known as AGOA. Amid the drama surrounding trade legislation in Congress in recent weeks, the fate of AGOA was uncertain. But on Thursday, the legislation won passage and was sent to President Obama for his signature.
