South Africa Massacre Probe Points Finger at Police, Mine, Unions

The commission which investigated the events culminating in the police killings of 34 striking platinum miners in Marikana in August 2012 has called for criminal investigations into the role of the police, said the police concealed evidence from the commission and wants a formal inquiry into the fitness to hold office of the national police chief.
