Ethiopia Hopes for More U.S. Trade, Investment

President Barack Obama's visit to Addis Ababa highlights the potential for growth of the limited trade and investment relations between the U.S. and Ethiopia.

This morning, President Obama and Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam were welcomed by senior officials at the National Palace.

US President Barack Obama inspects a guard of honor at the National Palace. Obama was in Addis Ababa on Monday, where he held a joint press conference with Ethiopia's Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn. The two leaders spoke about tackling poverty and Ethiopia's role as a military force in Africa.
