Kenya on Top at Historic World Athletics Champs

Asbel Kiprop wrapped up the historic performance when he stormed to a third consecutive victory in the men's 1,500m race, a feat that brought the packed 80,000-seater Bird's Nest Stadium to its feet.

Kenya made history, finishing on top of the final medal table of the 15th IAAF World Championships in Beijing, China. Ethiopia came in at 5, while South Africa finished at 13, and Eritrea at 15.
